Welcome to Montanabirddogs!!  Montanabirddogs was started in 2002.  Our goal is to breed the best German Shorthair, and Elhew English Pointer anywhere.  Our dogs are bred to back, and retrieve naturally. These are our family members as well as our hunting companions. Our dogs have and will have hundreds of (wild) pheasants, hungarians, sharptail grouse, and chukars shot over them.

WHAT WE DO

We typically breed two to three litters per year so puppies are limited.  Here at Montanabirddogs, we train and field trial spring through summer.  In the fall we turn our attention to the prairie grass of Eastern Montana where we hunt wild birds 'til the end of the year.
